As a female designer and founder, I created Pico Birds thinking about the toys I would want my own kids to play with and learn from. Sustainable, design-led objects with clean ingredients that challenge a child's creativity rather than replace it. I want to teach them the magic of where I come from. The shapes, the colors, the stories behind the birds I grew up looking at from my bedroom window, like the Macaws and Troupials. Each bird in the collection is real: a real species, a real place, a real culture, a real story. And so is everything a child builds from it. The first drop is the birds of Venezuela. We're just getting started.
